Flighting is determined by computing the player's average based on the most recent prior 3 years in the tournament. Additionally, a player(s) who wins a flight for that tournament year, will automatically move up to the next competitive flight the following year.

New Hackers are highlighted on the tournament roster and are flighted based on the Hacker's sponsoring recommendation. After our 2nd round of play, new Hackers may need to be reflighted according to the scoring cutoffs.

For the Seniors....
In 2011 we introduced our Senior Flight. Eligible players are those who are at least 60 years of age and have reached their 2nd year Hacker status. We now have two Senior Flights (Senior A and Senior B). This will be predicated by the number of senior players and grouped by handicap.

While players eligible for the Senior Flight have the option of playing in their senior flight, but the normal flight is mandatory. This flight option provides competitive opportunities for all seniors.
